I'll +1 the Hawk as the best general-purpose launcher. I never use the Shrike any more, and the Phoenix feels really situational and best when used in groups. The Crow is also good for nailing tanks and harassers without fear of whiffing. Don't bother with Annihilator.

The Decimator can be okay once you get used to it but most of the situations that you'd expect it to be good in are not as good as they seem (Deci does the same damage to a sunderer as a Hawk etc).Edit: oh look it's my cakeday. The Decimator is worth getting. It has different resistances to some armor types (especially air), so even with 1 fewer rocket, what are the chances you're using all of them before you get blown up by a tank or taken out by a MAX?The Annihilator is nice in small groups camping a hilltop.General purpose though, go with the Hawk. Lock-on for air, dumbfire for armor, and a nice sight to go with it.

Every time I start the game up, I get to the Launcher, hit play, and the launcher disappears but the game doesn't actually start. I've checked the task manager and it always shows that the game is running.

I have them all besides the Phoenix and rarely use the Crow anymore. Mostly Deci, but have gone back to some others in the long slog to Directive glory.Truth be told, the Annihilator and Decimator names should be switched. Decimation is only killing 10% of a unit. Annihilation is much worse. :Decimation (: decimatio; decem = ') was a form of military used by senior commanders in the to punish units or large groups guilty of capital offences such as. The word decimation is derived from meaning 'removal of a tenth'.The procedure was a pragmatic, yet vicious, attempt to balance the need to punish serious offences with the practicalities of dealing with a large group of offenders.Interesting: Parent commenter can.
