You should look online for gameplay to get a better idea of both, but here's a few tidbits:They're both good, but Dark Crusade is much better than Soulstorm. Soulstorm has two additional races (Sisters of Battle and the Dark Eldar) and a bunch of extra maps. However, the two new races can be somewhat unbalanced (i.e. The dark eldar are meant to attack in lightning quick strikes and be gone or have devastated the enemy before the enemy can retaliate, but they can endure almost as much punishment as some of the other 'tank' race's units while dealing out impressive damage). Additionally, the singleplayer dialogue is pretty laughable and your bases aren't maintained after you conquer an area. This last detail can make the game very repetitive when it comes to defense missions as you have to rebuild pretty much everything. I find it hard to believe that they would purge the Adeptus Astartes; Space Marines arent expendable like guardsmen. Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Darkhammer, a puritan Inquisitor, was declared Excomunicate Traitoris by Inquisitor Valeria, also of the Ordo Xenos and a Xeno Hybris radical, over a rivalry that resulted in the destruction of the Dimensional Forge, a Necrontyr artifact that could generate a null field large enough to protect an entire sector from Chaos. There are even radicals amoung the inquisition that would challenge the High Lords of Terra on the grounds that they have corrupted and intentionally misinterpreted the Emperor's words for personal gain, though they're few and far between.
