Hello all,Before getting into the main subject, I just want to say I am experienced with installing, configuring and verifying mods. I use MO as my mod manager, and I have experience using MO and over 50 mods.Now, I am out of ideas after more than 10 hours trying to get CBBE to work. I have searched on Google and forums and everyone just seems to be able to get it to function just by downloading it and running the game. I have thought maybe I didn't have a package that CBBE needed so I downloaded one of the recommended ones on CBBE's Nexus page, but nope.All NPCs are fully clothed or armored, and they are vanilla, no change at all.
I am fully aware of conflicts that can happen with using a lot of mods so I made a profile in MO with just CBBE, no change either.Can someone explain to me how to make CBBE work (please do not skip any step)? Or link me to a guide.
I am not really looking to have naked characters, I just want my NPCs to look good.Thank you very much in advance. CBBE is NSFW by default if you want your characters and NPC use the underwear options in the AIO installer. I usually install CBBE with the slim or slim vanilla body options since I like the natural look. The AIO installer should also contain some face packs. The choice is yoursInstall Caliente's 'Beautiful Bodies Edition - v3.4c' and follow the FMOD installer.
Don't forget the armour packs mentioned.Lydia and a lot of Bethseda followers have their own armour use a follower mod like AFT to over ride that.Finally I would suggest learning Mod Organiser if you don't use it already, it makes mod management and experimenting with mods easier and safer after an initial learning curve. Judging from your other responses, you're confused on what CBBE does.CBBE replaces the female body in Skyrim. It doesn't change anyone's faces. It doesn't change what anyone's wearing by default. You can change the exact shape of the body you want with the included BodySlide program.To verify if CBBE is installed correctly, make a new female character and take off her armor. If you see a nude, probably busty figure, then it's installed.If you want NPC faces to improve, there are other mods to overhaul that.
